Monica Vitti, właśc. Maria Luisa Ceciarelli (ur. 3 listopada 1931 w Rzymie, zm. 2 lutego 2022 tamże) – włoska aktorka.

Była muzą reżysera Michelangela Antonioniego, u którego we wczesnych latach 60. XX w. grała główne role. Potem była obsadzana głównie w komediach, współpracując z reżyserem Mario Monicellim. Wystąpiła z Marcellem Mastroiannim, Alainem Delonem, Richardem Harrisem, Terence’em Stampem, Michaelem Caine’em i Dirkiem Bogarde’em.

Vitti zdobyła pięć nagród Davida di Donatello dla najlepszej aktorki, siedem włoskich Złotych Globów dla najlepszej aktorki, Srebrnego Niedźwiedzia za wybitne osiągnięcie artystyczne (1984) na Festiwalu Filmowym w Berlinie oraz nagrodę Honorowego Złotego Lwa (1995) za całokształt twórczości na Festiwalu Filmowym w Wenecji.

Michelangelo Antonioni ( AN-toh-nee-OH-nee or an-TOH-; Italian: [mikeˈlandʒelo antoˈnjoːni]; 29 September 1912 – 30 July 2007) was an Italian film director, screenwriter, and editor. He is best known for his "trilogy on modernity and its discontents", L'Avventura (1960), La Notte (1961), and L'Eclisse (1962); the English-language film Blowup (1966); and the multilingual The Passenger (1975). His films have been described as "enigmatic and intricate mood pieces" that feature elusive plots, striking visual composition, and a preoccupation with modern landscapes. His work substantially influenced subsequent world art cinema.

Antonioni received numerous awards and nominations throughout his career, being the first and one of two directors, the other being Jafar Panahi, to have won the Palme d'Or, the Golden Lion, the Golden Bear and the Golden Leopard. Three of his films are on the list of hundred Italian films to be saved. He received Academy Award nominations for Best Director and Best Original Screenplay for Blowup. In 1995, he received an Honorary Oscar "in recognition of his place as one of cinema's master visual stylists".
